Three major international exhibitions celebrating the work of three leading women surrealists including the English painter Leonora Carrington (b 1917), shown alongside works by her friends, and fellow Mexican residents, the Spanish painter Remedios Varo (1908–1963) and Hungarian photographer Kati Horna (1912–2000).
Surrealism in Sussex

Drawing inspiration from the rich tradition of Surrealism in Sussex including the famous benefactor and resident of West Dean, Edward James, and Chiddingly residents Lee Miller and Roland Penrose.
De Pelos or The House of Fear: A Happening (Live performance)

Timed to celebrate the bi-centenary of Mexico's Independence on 15 September 2010, this performance is a collage of popular Mexican legends, images and music inspired by Juan Rulfo's writing.
